ICFF 2014

Tomorrow we make the trek to NYC for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF). It's so fun to see what is happening in color and shape and scale from designers around the world. There are big companies and boutique studios, like ours, all together in one place at one time. 600 exhibitors from 38 countires in 11 categories at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on the west side of the city. We've spent so many days in the Javits, either exhibiting, or walking shows, that it feels almost like home. ALMOST. I have even become used to the $10.00 salad. We no longer have sticker shock.

We are mostly showing fabrics this time, including an outdoor line. While it's great for outdoors, like on this boat we recently did for HUNT YACHTS in RI, it's also good for indoors. A designer recently sent us this picture of a private residence breakfast nook.

I generally take a lot of pictures of things I find interesting at this show. I'll try and post a few over the weekend. Although, the blogging is great from the big design blogs. Everybody covers this show.
